Precautions for using steel lined plastic storage tanks

When transporting, installing, and hoisting steel lined plastic storage tanks, if there are lifting ears, the steel rope should be inserted into the lifting ears for hoisting. If there are no lifting ears, the steel rope should be tied to the barrel body for hoisting. During the hoisting process, it is necessary to avoid falling, impact, and deformation.

2. Vertical steel lined plastic storage tanks can be directly placed on a flat and sturdy foundation for use, while horizontal steel lined plastic storage tanks can be placed on a fixed cement foundation for use.

3. Steel lined plastic storage tanks are capable of holding material solutions such as polyethylene.

4. Other accessories of steel lined plastic storage tanks (such as level pipe valves, flange gaskets, temperature measuring pipes, valves, pipelines, etc.) are made of materials that are resistant to containing substance solutions.

5. The general technical drawings do not indicate that the working temperature and pressure of the storage tank are at normal temperature and pressure. The drawing indicates its working temperature and pressure. According to the characteristics of steel lined plastic storage tanks, the high working temperature can be below 90 ℃.

6. Anti static facilities should be installed when storing high resistance organic solvents.

When installing mechanical equipment such as pumps at the outlet or inlet of steel lined plastic storage tanks, strong vibration should be avoided to damage the flange mouth, and pipeline vibration reduction pipes should be installed.

In order to improve the service life of steel lined plastic storage tanks, installation in highly corrosive environments should be avoided. The anti-corrosion condition of the steel body surface should be checked regularly, and the anti-corrosion work outside the steel tank should be done well. Avoid highly corrosive environments as much as possible and carry out daily maintenance work.

9. Promptly detect liquid leakage at the flange mouth and manhole opening to prevent corrosive liquids from entering the steel plastic interlayer and affecting its service life.

10. The steel lined plastic storage tank series is only suitable for containing liquids and should not contain gases or solutions containing gases in liquids.
